This is a great England kit, but one with a not so great history!
This Umbro home kit was worn between February 1993 to November 1994, and featured in the 93 US Cup when England drew with Brazil 1-1, but lost to Germany and USA to finish bottom of the tournament! Germany went onto win the cup.
It would have featured in the 1994 USA World Cup, but England failed to qualify for the finals ... a low for England during my lifetime, and the last World Cup we didn't take part in.
I’m wearing #7, as worn by David Platt, who scored more goals (9), played more games (12), and captained the team more times (10) than any other player in this kit.
Today's Schedule - The Semi-Finals:
France v Belgium
The semi-finals start today with what's probably the 2 strongest sides left in the tournament. I'd expect Belgium to win this, but it's going to be close. If pogba shows up it could be a totally different ball game, literally!
